IS THE SILK RIBBON WASHABLE?

For natural pigments, it is recommended to wash with a ph neutral soap (such as Seventh Generation) on delicate cycle or by hand. When washing, keep the ribbon tangled-free by placing in a garment bag. Silk ribbon can be dried on a low setting or hung to air dry. You may choose to use the ribbon with a naturally dried look, or iron smooth on silk/linen setting.

HOW ACCURATE ARE COLORS TO WHAT I SEE IN YOUR PHOTOS?

Blumen Roots strives to provide accurate color descriptions, however due to variations in the hand dying process, as well as computer monitor color displays, there may be slight variations between those pictured above and actual color.
Furthermore, plant based dyes create complex colors that contain a range of pigments. These pigments respond differently under different lighting conditions. Mother nature is spectacular in this sense, and we’ve taken great care to represent the color as best as possible. If you are uncertain on which color to choose, please contact us with information regarding your color scheme and we can help find the best fit.

HOW MUCH RIBBON DO I NEED FOR A BRIDAL BOUQUET?

Our ribbons are sold in minimums of 2.5 yards and maximum 5 yards.  All ribbon is continuous (without seams), offering you flexibility in design. The 2.5 yard length works well for a single bridal bouquet. If you prefer a trailing ribbon, 5 yards will create an elegant look. Many brides prefer a wider width of ribbon for their bridal bouquet, such as 2 inch or 3 inch-width ribbon.
